Yedang Korean Restaurant is a full-service dining spot in La Habra that leans heavily into traditional Korean homestyle cooking. It draws a steady crowd of Korean locals, which often means busy weekends and a lively dining room with a welcoming, communal atmosphere. The restaurant’s set-up accommodates both small groups and larger parties comfortably, with clean, spacious seating that works well for family meals or casual get-togethers.

Visitors to Yedang will find the flavors rooted deeply in authentic Korean recipes, featuring well-executed classics like bulgogi, sizzling stone pot bibimbap, and a variety of fresh, flavorful banchan (side dishes) that rotate and offer a balanced accompaniment to mains. Those interested in seafood will notice dishes like spicy braised black cod and monkfish with bean sprouts, which are notable for their bold, spicy profiles and tender textures. The portion sizes tend to be generous, making it easy to share dishes or bring leftovers home.

The atmosphere tends to be bustling, especially during peak meal times, so arriving earlier or later than typical dinner hours can result in a more relaxed experience. Staff are known for attentive and warm service, creating an environment that feels both polished and personally inviting rather than hurried or purely transactional. This attention helps balance the busy energy in the dining room, reinforcing a sense of genuine hospitality.

Yedang fits well for diners who appreciate Korean comfort food made with care and prefer a spot where locals gather around familiar dishes. It’s a reliable choice for anyone seeking traditional Korean meals with fresh ingredients and a breadth of flavorful options, especially if you enjoy dishes like cold noodles, braised seafood, and well-marinated meats presented with a variety of side dishes. The space and service style also work well for small celebrations or family-style dining when you want a straightforward, authentic Korean food experience without fuss.

If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in La Habra, Ye Dang is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive — the kind of warm, genuine service that makes you feel like family. The food? Absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was full of rich, traditional flavor — from perfectly marinated bulgogi to sizzling hot stone bibimbap. Their side dishes (banchan) were fresh and plentiful, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Best of all, the prices are super reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. It’s rare to find a spot that nails authentic taste, great service, and value all in one, but Ye Dang does it effortlessly. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true Korean dining experience!

YEDANG is my go-to spot whenever I crave authentic Korean food! The staff here is always attentive. Their side dishes (banchan) were all super fresh and delicious! (Especially loved their japchae & muk) The crab was fresh and the marinade was just right - usually I can't finish a whole crab because it's too salty at other places, but here I could enjoy the whole thing! While it's a bit pricey for the portion size, the quality makes it worth trying. Located in a plaza with parking, though it can get busy at times. The spacious dining area makes it great for family dinners!

It’s my first time at this restaurant. They offer truly Authentic Korean food, I can tell, because customers are Korean and average middle age. The portions are so big which I couldn’t imagine. I needed to pack more than half for togo. The dishes are very fresh cooked, clean veggies and also a lots. The staff were very nice and helpful. Clean spacious seating for small and big group.

YEDANG is a bustling restaurant packed with Koreans (weekends there is usually a wait). It’s a lot of Korean comfort food, but their best dishes are BRAISED. Must-try dishes include EUNDAEGU JORIM, a spicy braised black cod that's rich in flavour. There's also AGU JJIM, featuring monkfish braised with spicy sauce and bean sprouts. The fish is tender, and the sauce adds a delightful kick. These two perfect fish dishes are so good that even our toddler was eating it up. Not a fan of fish? The #2 YEDANG SPECIAL: MUKEUNJI DWAEJI GALBI JJIM is a hearty alternative. The MUKEUNJI, or aged kimchi, delivers a robust sour flavour, enhanced by a hint of chipotle smokiness. It's a delightful twist not often found in Korea. One dish that didn't live up to expectations was the YEDAG BOSSAM, which ended up being underwhelming and dry. However, the overall culinary experience at YEDANG is exceptional while combing traditional Korean flavors with more local ingredients like chipotle.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious, and the portions are generous. The servers are generally friendly, although the place tends to get very crowded. I usually try to visit outside of peak dining hours to avoid the rush

My favorite place for cold noodles in OC! Their galbi is amazing, and we always order both because their banchan alone is worth the trip. Definitely a local spot.

Love their raw soy marinated crab full of authentic flavors and shareable size. Pair good with ban chan and rice. Comes with gloves and scissors so it’s easy to get the meat. Service is friendly and this is a family friendly restaurant!

Ordered the nokdu jun and the galbijjim. I’ve been looking for the authentic taste of the nokdu jun like what my grandma use to make. My grandma used to have a really successful restaurant in Korea back in the 70s and was a great cook. So it’s always been hard finding that taste. This place is exactly like her cooking. I would definitely recommend this place. Looking at the average of of all of the customers (in their 50’s-70’s) attest to the authenticity of the cooking! The galbijjim was excellent too. Not overly salty or sweet. Just right.
